We went there twice, the place is small but for the rest nothing to complain about.The meals don't cost a fortune, the plates are full and hot, the service is perfect maybe just their glasses of juice are small otherwise everything is perfect

The food was very fresh and delicious! The chicken from the club and hot chicken was well cooked. The poutine had a nice salty flavor to it. We drove 1.5 hours to get to Café Anselme today. As on our first visit, we loved the poutine. They make their own brown sauce and it is delectable. The fries are homemade with real potatoes. Not like McDonald's. And the cheese is local and squeaks like no other. The best in Quebec! I ordered the Expo (with sausages, cooked onions) and my wife the burger (with ground steak and cooked onions). Both delicious but I have a weakness for the Expo. For dessert we had a maple grandfather that was better than in a sugar shack and a strawberry, raspberry and blueberry pudding as good as my mother's. Fantastic! The service is cordial. The decor is that of a neighborhood snack bar from the 1950s. Go there, you will be won over!
